About Luke

Welcome. I’m Luke Sherlock, writer, pilgrim and environmentalist with a boundless enthusiasm for sacred places and heritage. There’s little I enjoy more than throwing on a backpack, heading off down some unknown footpath and pausing to explore a hushed, ancient church along the way. My mission is to share these journeys so we can better know, value and care for our historic landmarks and the landscapes they sit within, whilst hopefully inspiring others to find some meaning through their own discoveries…

Support my work

All my essays, photos and video broadcasting are made available for free. If you’ve enjoyed some of my words, photos, or videos and would like to support my journey, to help me build my platform, and do so much more in the future (I have big plans for the year ahead!) then there is the option to donate below. Any support is greatly appreciated and through subscribing to my mailing list (below), you can be made aware each time I publish. Hopefully you can come to view my work like a newspaper or magazine, that you may choose to buy and enjoy in a quiet moment. More than anything, thanks for following. It’s the encouragement and passion of like minded individuals which continues to carry me onwards to the journeys still to come…
